Z section profiles are annexed with a hook connecting clutch, making them reliable and suitable for shoring trenches, shafts, and construction pits. The PCZ Series steel sheet pile is produced with S235-S355 grade steel, and has an effective weight ranging from 94.5kg/m² to 239kg/m². This product is manufactured to comply with EN 10249.
Z Section sheet piles are called Z’s because the single piles are shaped roughly like a horizontally stretched Z.
The essential characteristics of any Z Section sheet pile is the continuous nature of the web and the specific location of the interlocks on the outside flange of the section. Interlocks are located symmetrically on both sides as far away from the neutral axis as possible.
Z Sections are traditionally driven as double piles facilitating a greater wall coverage per pitch and drive.
The PCZ-700 Series is a cold rolled steel sheet pile, post formed from hot roll coil. These profiles are characterised with a hook connecting clutch, reliable and suitable for shoring or trenches, shafts and construction pits.
